Frequently Asked Questions
How long does flower pressing take?
With proper layering, most petals dry in 7–14 days. Thicker blooms can take up to 3 weeks. We show how to rotate blotter stacks to prevent browning.
What makes paper "archival"?
Acid-free, lignin-free papers resist yellowing and protect pigments. Our blotters and mounting sheets meet conservation guidelines.
Can I join a workshop as a beginner?
Yes. Our Beginner Workshop covers harvesting, pressing basics, and troubleshooting with live Q&A.
Do you ship internationally?
We currently ship supplies within the U.S. Workshops are available globally online. Frames ship with protective corners and recycled packaging.
How do I keep colors vibrant?
Harvest early, press quickly, and keep heat low. Avoid direct sunlight. We recommend gentle silica for complex blossoms only when appropriate.
Are tools child-safe?
Tweezers and blades are sharp. Adult supervision is required. Our adhesive is non-toxic but not for ingestion.
What is your return policy?
Unopened supplies can be returned within 30 days. Workshops are refundable up to 48 hours before start time.
Can I frame my work without glass?
Yes, but we suggest UV acrylic or glass for long-term display. Our frames include acid-free backing and spacers.
